HOTEL BÉKE SZIGET is located in the center of Komló, at 4 Városház tér.

The building, together with the town hall, the museum and a row of shops, embraces the central square of the city. The Hotel was built in the early 1950s during the socialist construction dumping and opened its doors to guests in 1955. The socialist realist building style of the fifties still defines its external appearance today. In 2000, it underwent a complete reconstruction by the current owner, preserving its hotel function.

In order to stand on more legs, a new extension and an office wing were added, so 10 offices can be rented. The property underwent another major renovation in 2025, which primarily serves the comfort of the guests, and a garden area with a mobile building was also built.
